flipping mice, squirrels and chipmuncks. can screw you up royally and hard to defeat. per wayne, you should be good with warrenty and let us know if they give you any problems with return

They gave me no grief, were ready to send me a new solenoid wiring assy. I told them I would fix up the wiring and that may be the extent of the problem.]]></content:encoded>

As you know, Lowe's rotates sales on Firman generators every few weeks. Unless the need is urgent, it may be worth it to wait a bit before making a purchase.<br><br>Sorry to hear about the main inverter board. I suspect that Firman will replace it under warranty. He has been using his 3000 for a few years now...but tells me it is killing him in gas compared to what he remembers his 2000s using, he was going to go out and buy a new Honda 2000, but after trying my firman he tells me he will be getting one of them next payday. It looks like there are no sales on now, so that will cost about 650.00]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Closing in on 300 hrs on this second unit. Its just sitting outside 24/7 and even down to -35 I start it just with the pull cord. I have to give it a half dozen pulls to get the oil moving at greater than -30, but it fires up on the 7th 8th pull. No complaints on that. My first unit wont start up with just the pull cord at all below -20 or so. So there is something different between the two units (I can ofcourse get it going by other means). I suspect its just a timming difference between the two.<br><br>For those in Calgary here is a brand new inverter generator unit for sale, still in its sealed box....220.00.
