I am looking for some canadian links for deydrated or freezedried meat. Everything seems to be in the states and with the dollar the way it is...not happening! Any ideas would be great..ty

You could try www.bridensolutions.ca , www.costco.ca (they have stuff online) and www.rapidsurvival.com

http://bauly.com/
The owner passed away a while ago, they seem to have modernized (the website at least) some.
Some of the prepared entrees weren't that good, way too salty for my taste but they may have adjusted their formulas since then (2011) but the raw ingredients should be fine.
One of the few places you can get actual meat, not TVP.

I would keep my eyes open for sales on products. Dri-harvest in Sherwood Park (online) is going out of business 🙁 but they have some price reductions on what appears to be their remaining inventory. I received an ad for some Thrive products that are shown in Canadian dollars, but I believe that the dollar is hurting the pricing of anything new coming into Canada, as the prices seem to be rising. If you can find someone who has old stock available you might be able to soften the pricing a little.

While not Freeze Dried, I think we will be seeing a big increase in preppers doing more dehydrating at home in Canada
this coming summer with the increase in food prices . I will be putting mine to more use.

Also might be time to consider a canner, which I don't have.

http://www.walmart.ca/search/freeze%20dried Just found this today! And I think they will deliver to your home or to your closest store if order is over $50. You can easily spend over $50 even just buying a couple of cans at a time and not have to pay for shipping. That's pretty awesome in my books!

Ya know.. 'cause girls need paracord too!
