Has anyone tried powdered peanut butter ?
We all know the expiry date of peanut butter is not as long as we would like especially the all natural Kraft type.
I found this one with no sugar / salt added that sounds good to have on hand (there is another brand with sugar and salt added)

It can also be found from amazon .com or .ca
I found a review that complained about it only having a 90 day shelf life, so not sure if this stuff is actually
any good for long term storage ?
Possibly when buying from amazon the date are quite a bit older than buying direct from the manufacturer.
Further information : I contacted them and got a reply within 10 minutes:
The general shelf life of most of our powdered products is 10-12 months. The Peanut
Butter Powder, Butter Powder, and Cheddar Cheese Powder fall into this category.
However, the Whole Egg Powder has an extended shelf life of 2 years and 6-8 months.
Thank you for looking into this, I didn't even know such thing existed.
Looks like the question then is "then what?" Does it go rancid or does it just slowly start losing nutritional and/or appearance quality?
I've often purchased bulk sized (read Costco) PB container that would take us months to go through,Newell beyond the "best before" date and other than the fact that it separated a bit and needed a good stir, I had no issues with consuming it.
There are some other brands of peanut butter powder that have sugar and salt added with similar packaging,
however I am not interested in those types.
However, I found another brand packaged with an oxygen absorber , again 100% peanuts
intended for long term storage.
