Hi there,

Just found your forum today, pretty cool. I live on 100 acres up near Slave and have been prepping with my family for about 3 years. I would like to be more off grid though, so am looking forward to reading more.

Slave Lake is still rebuilding, prices are high, some insurance companies were hard to deal with etc. It looks alot better though, all cleaned up.
