Just wanted to say HI before jumping into other topics 🙂
We are a family of two adults with two kids (ages 6 & 9), just moved to Etobicoke (know this area very well although no local friends yet).
We're not hard-core preppers, but always make sure we can take care of our family (including 3 months + of water, food & emerge supplies and working on more, including gardening).
My wish and hope is to slowly get to know other local (Long Branch specifically) families with kids who similarly work towards being self-sufficient, it's always great to have friends that you can team-up with.
I'm also here (in these forums) to learn everything I can 🙂

Greetings. There's plenty of preppers around. There are several posts here about regular events where preppers meet and greet. Meetup is also pretty good. I have a site there myself. It does branch off into many other prepping-related areas such as bushcraft and agriculture events. The best way to meet other family preppers is to get out and meet them at any number of events. There's many that are family-orientated.
