What repeater would you recommend for use with the radios we looked at at the meet up? Is there one we could use for both the baofengs and cbs? We have a great location for one. If you have links on where to buy that would be great too. Thanks!

There are local repeaters to use with the vhf/uhf radios, for which you'll need your ham ticket.
No repeaters for CBs, none needed, nor is a ticket needed for CB communication.
If/when you wish to access local repeaters, by the time you have your ham ticket, you'll have no trouble finding the frequencies for them.
