Did a bit of mead, cider, and wine a number of years back, it all went pretty well, but the process seemed a bit messy to me. I see some Canadians have changed that with a conical fermenter called the "FastFerment". The Youtube videos look promising, wondering if anyone here has purchased one (or more) and used it? Looks like a great design, an easy path to spirits with low alcohol content.

For a different type of fermenting, I supported the "Pickle Pipe" successful Kickstarter campaign, got my airlocks & weights the other day. Will likely try a cabbage kraut first, just to test them. Seems like a great way to use those new preserving jars without having to buy and buy and buy and buy lids.
