I came across the site the other day - nice to see that there is a Canadian section to it!
Living in Manitoba, I've always known the need to keep extra food around the house, but with the way I see things going, and what COULD be to come, I've decided I really need to step it up a notch or two. Getting ready for a possible long-term event is no easy task, and it's always nice to be able to draw information from, and share your knowledge with others.
I started stepping it up just a couple of weeks ago, so I have a long way to go...it's nice to have some company (in this forum) along the way.

We do grow them skeeters pretty big out here...if they get any bigger they'll need to be reclassified as our provincial bird! 😀
