Hello, we are a homesteading/ prepping family located in the South okanagan of British Columbia on 20 remote acres atop a mountain. We have been at this for 16 months. During this time we have established a 1600sq' greenhouse, livestock and pens and built a 1600sq' building from logs. However this has also proven to be the most challenging time of our lives physically, mentally and emotionally.

We are looking to have some other people join us in a community/cooperative setting. If accepted we would allow you to build or bring your own structure or accommodations on/to our property as well as reap the self sufficiency we have attained.
We do not put any faith in fiat currency and we would expect you to be like minded. We are very motivated and always busy building, inventing, foraging the land and preparing.

This is not for the faint of heart, week bodied or minded. This is can be a very challenging way of living as we are off grid, remote, and rely on ourselves. We need others that will not give up when it gets tough...it will!

You will likely melt snow for water in the winter, cut a lot of firewood, can,dehydrate, hunt, smoke and process alot of food.
