Hi Folks;
Just joined the forum as a member of another online group I belong to suggested this would be a good one to check out. I spent a number of years in the Canadian Army but have been out of it for a while now. I am very into outdoorsy things like hiking, hunting, fishing and backpacking. Prepping is something I have really gotten into in the last year or so but was hesitant to share with people I know. I still think there is a stigma attached to it by a majority of people. Being a hiker etc., prepping is a natural extension in my opinion!
I guess it would be good to chat with people of a similar mindset and be aware of meetings or get togethers in Alberta. I am quite into learning anything I can about outdoor living, farming, stockpiling. I'm a bit of a gear head but still like to do things the hard way.
In short, just believe in prepping and always looking to learn more and share what I know!
