Hello everyone, I'm a long time member on a canadian gun forum and a couple other shtf/prepper forums, that are more geared towards people who live in the usa which is fine, but I am a Canadian and this website looks like a good way to help share and learn new knowledge with a more international base of members. I'm glad I found this site because it looks real good from what I have been reading.

Hello from a relative newbie in BC in prepping and the forum as well. Fortunately I am not new to hard work and sacrifice.
Speaking for myself, I could use all the input I can get on forums like this and others, it is invaluable as the internet is my main source of reference.

Thanks, this looks like my new favorite prepper forum. Over the last 6-7 years, I have really turned into a serious prepper. The more I learn, the more I think "prepping". Every firearm I own now, was bought with prepping in mind. 7-8 years ago, all of my firearms were traditional hunting firearms...now they are all specific firearms if shtf, but still work great for hunting. My old marlin 30-30 lever has been replaced by my CZ858 non res, my old 30/06 bolt action has been replaced by a M1A (m14), etc, etc...

When doing renovations, my natural gas fireplace was replaced by a wood stove/cooker, and my 5ft tall crawl space has turned into my survival room, which has all of my bulk food storages, all of my firearms, hunting gear, tactical gear, ammo, etc....My laundry room now has a 8ft long workbench with my reloading presses, and gunsmithing tools.

Every week, I add something to my supplies. I might get another 20lb bag of rice, a brick of .22lr, or even something inexpensive like a extra roll of duct tape & garbage bags. I use clipboards for all my inventory. I make sure my oldest ammo is used next, but I know when I'm needing more of a specific caliber...I never have less than xxxxx amount of each caliber.

I could go on & on, so I better go to the specific sections...lol.
