Racism is the reason what's keeping me from participating on most "prepper" forums, it's a huge turn-off. I'm sorry but not all survivalists are white and if I'm offended by racist slurs it doesn't make me blindingly politically correct. In my book, if you're racist, you're a microbrain.

This is an obvious problem that lives in every corner of the world. I have met lots of small thinkers (or microbrains 😆 ) in my lifetime and marvel at how they often don't even have any real grounds to dislike those they criticize, when asked directly. I think many start such conversations trying to impress me (as I'm a biker) and they likely presume I'd be impressed by such crap. Then I mention my wife is native and my kids are bonified Heinz 57's as they are made up of many nationalities. Then I get to watch them do their stupid back-peddling and pull the fast exit.... works every time! 😎

I'd like to make it clear, IN MY EXPERIENCE, pretty much every vocally racist prepper on survivalist/prepper message boards has been white American or Canadian. My family is Russian, Mongolian, Ukrainian, Chinese...etc and have been "prepping" for decades before immigrating to North America.

We did that link before in another thread but it is definitely worth the re-hash. StormCloudsGathering always has good presentations to get his point across properly. I also like the fact that he doesn't provoke viewers to consider violent action in response to specific events because there is enough who are already overreacting to these situations. He usually offers clear concise advice as to how things could be changed if enough people united and stood against the injustices that now occur daily. His message is being continually reloaded on the web as often I've noticed You Tube seems to move his posts. 😡 hmmmmm 😕

people are scare of everything different from them and this is based on a poor education and closed-minded
has a perpper survivalits i hate describe myself has prepper then have to explain what its mean
most of the time these ignorant categorized you imediatly to a freak of the end of the world
and everytime i have to make them understand that i respect they are living unconsciously on unstable world and while they saving money for the kids university in 15 years from now while our tomorrow is unsure and they are totaly unprepare to anny disaster that can occur
also i sleep very good at night to know im laying on 6 month of food and a tons of knowledge and priceless survivalit and military experience
maybe im wasting lot of time and money into this but its my hobby and i have total piece of mind living trough this do you ?

Though ignorance is part of it, Its more, lack of emotional investment. If one of the "others" is a relative or a friend or a good neighbour... and some feral douche bag is threatening them or restricting them economically or socially to subhuman status....You are going to be in that fight like a dirty shirt.

But I think it is more. I think racism is an inherent human trait. It is part of our genetic make up. From the beginning of time, the "Other" would attack us, take our land and women. I think it is a genetic protection method. We all have it. It is one of our baser instincts...like rape or violence or conquest or greed.

Having racist feelings is natural but it is what you do with those feelings that defines whether you are a Good Person...Or a really bad, feral human being that needs to be put down.

NOW is the time to set those strong moral standards against the baser instincts of humanity and get them firmly established in your soul....before stress and fear of collapse entices you to compromise your principles for survival. BEFORE your primitive mind is where you find yourself on a daily basis.

When I look at all this racism.....what I see is WEAKNESS of character. COWARDICE. And all the excuses and explanations that these key board commandoes use to find others like them to agree with them...is just an excuse for their Greed, Weakness and Cowardice.

Confront these ideas NOW...before you have to look back and realise you were duped into committing genocide. Its what you DO that defines whether you are a good person... or not.

I'm fond of saying, "Prepping. This aint your grand pappies old time racist survivalism anymore." On the whole, preppers have said No. We will not tolerate racism in prepping...and yet...The Douche Bag survivalists still persist and use every opportunity to make their voices herd, on our boards.

What I want to reaffirm is that I will call this shit when I see it. We will confront it when we see it. We are not waiting for you. We are looking for you. We will not tolerate this. We will shout you down. We will call a racist piece of shite, a racist piece of shite. We will let you know you are not welcome. If necessary, we will go bullet to bullet, hammer blow to hammer blow, boot heel to boot heal. If you suddenly appear as a force after a collapse...we will whittle down your numbers any chance that presents itself until you starve in your hidey holes, afraid to go outside...and we will look at this daily prepper task as a Good Samaritan act.

Who decides who is what ?. You ?. Who decides who are allowed what thoughts, ideas and conversations ?. You ?.

I do not see Racism on this board at all and I am not sure why you think its necessary to bring something into equation which is non existent here on this board.

I personally don't agree with Racism. But I believe in Liberty. You can do and say what you want as long as you do not hurt other people. Well, I have seen racism on this board. Confronting it has made it go away. Done. More So, I have dealt with this on the street instead of just the keyboard. Ever seen the victim of a skinhead attack? I have. Ever known anyone that has been beaten or killed or bombed for being gay or Hindu. This is a normal every day occurrence...and there is generally a lot of low level low bigotry that is consumed before someone decides that it is a good idea to shoot some black kid on the street. I have learned that the only way to stop these bigots is to let them know they will not just be attacking some easy victim but that fight will be returned until they are no longer a theat.

So, You are not a racist. Good for you. They see you as a traitor. As for you not being a bigot.....my posts sure seem to have brought out some strong feelings in you. Where might those feelings come from?

It's a derogatory statement as the author obviously must therefore believe in capital punishment himself. Sometimes we say what's on our mind because it's on our mind. Yes, there are likely lots of racists in the prepper world but I don't see comments on this board suggesting they reside here (unless you consider my banned thread 😆 ). I can see and therefore relate to both sides of this difference of opinion.

C5 obviously dislikes any kind of racial discrimination. But in turn he is discriminating against racists. Yes C5, you are a Racist against Racists! At least he didn't say he would stalk and kill them!

His aggressive demeanor regarding this subject does draw on one's cautious side though to maybe perceive that C5 could emulate a stick of dynamite which has been sweating in the sun for too long... but hey, I can get up and in your face too and REALLY make you nervous if I try 😡 . Well, I am the first to admit that I am intolerant of intolerance. I am emotionally invested in people that are openly persecuted. One of the reason that I am here instead of other boards that tolerate low level racism and bigotry is the lack of it. Unfortunately, there are a lot of prepper boards that are only recruiting tools and we all visit them occasionally for prepping advice. Pointing it out is a good way to get people to see through the curtain.
