This drought has affected so many. I'm more than sure people will totally understand. No point in taking any chances with your bees.
All packed...going to hook up the trailer and hit the road.
See everyone there!
Drive safe. See you later today.
Been Running today, its all coming together.. the big prize basket is prepped, the box full of goodies for the barter table is ready to go, the gifted prizes are ready to be packed for tomorrow.
Last min questions flying into my in-box.. the presenters are excited for it..

Never been to Larose Forest before and I'm wondering if there are numerous entrances? Or just one? Don't want to get lost or delayed... being the first presenter and all. lol
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!
There are a few entrances but only one P1. The gazebo is called Henri Latreille Shelter, Indian Creek Road, Ontario. GPS coords are 45°22'33.6"N 75°14'33.5"
Here is a map:

All sorted out, and I will be out at least a hour early to get the balloons up

Thank you to everyone that came out to make the event a success, the presentations were outstanding! there was amazing food, from a outstanding breakfast set up to our regular potluck to the awesome fresh corn roast.
There were old friends and new faces.. It had a few challenges, unexpected heavy crazy rain (but so needed) and a bit of a issue with a share of space.. but we hunkered down and pushed though

Great day despite the rain and other distractions.
Thanks all for the presentations...
And thanks to Farmgal & Adagio for putting this on 5 years running now...
And again...a BIG THANKS to Farmgal for helping out with the forum for over 4 years now...much appreciated!
It was nice to sit by the fire on Saturday night and crack a few cold ones with some like mindeds.
Enjoyed myself and giving the bee talk.
If enough folks are interested I will organize a yard day at my Arnprior bees for late Sept or early Oct. Don't sound off here, I'll create a new thread.
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!

Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
Another terrific meet. The presenters were outstanding. So much useful and practical information. Good food, great gifts and not to mention meeting up with old friends and making new acquaintances. All of this followed by a fire side chat at the campsite was the perfect way to end a great weekend. Thanks to everyone for coming and contributing and in particular a BIG thanks goes out to Farmgal and Denob. Thanks for a wonderful meet.
Came here as a rookie, not knowing what to expect. In spite of the rain, and the new husky speak lessons, this turned out to be a complete and memorable day. New friends, new knowledge, great presentations and a very warm and welcoming group. Huge bonus, my wife was totally impressed and found a whole new motivation. Thanks to all the organizers and presenters who managed to make this such a great day. Looking forward to the next one.
