We are all here because we believe the world is not all peaches. We prep and gear up for something we feel is coming. But what's coming, what is overlooked, what to do next can be anybody's guess. And if you know you can be scientific about it; learn to be psychic, or as close to you can get by learning to Remote View

I'm not pushing this on anybody. I'm not selling DVDs. I trained under the best (major Ed Dames) ands i want to help others learn this skill before SHTF. Anybody in the London area feel free to come out to a workshop, i will teach you (and anybody interested) the basics so you can see it works. Anybody further away I'm sure we can set something up. I can promise one thing that if you give it an honest try it will blow your mind

But what is it? (From his site, it's late to type and I have work in the morning)

The world's foremost remote viewing teacher, and creator of Technical Remote Viewing, Major Edward A. Dames, United States Army (ret.), is a thrice decorated military intelligence officer and an original member of the U.S. Army prototype remote viewing training program. He served as both training and operations officer for the U.S. government's TOP SECRET psychic espionage unit.

Edward Dames is a ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Between 1979 and 1983, Major Dames served as an electronic warfare officer and scientific and technical intelligence officer.

In 1982, Ingo Swann, under the direction of Dr. Harold Puthoff, head of the Remote Viewing Laboratory at Stanford Research Institute, realized a breakthrough. Swann developed a working model for how the unconscious mind communicates information to conscious awareness. To test the model, the Army sent Major Dames and five others to Swann as a prototype trainee group.

The results exceeded all expectations - even those of Swann. In six months, Major Dames' teammates were producing psychically-derived data with more consistency and accuracy than had ever been seen in similar intelligence projects using even the best 'natural' psychics. In late 1983, the team parted company with Swann. As the new operations and training officer for the unit, Dames took this breakthrough skill, dubbed 'Coordinate Remote Viewing,' and began a new phase of research, testing, and evaluation in order to both uncover its true capabilities, and to perfect its application to fit crucial intelligence collection needs.

Remote Viewing Declassified by CIA

Due to information leaks to public and, Remote Viewing was forced into declassification by the U.S. Army and CIA. Major Dames retired from the U.S. Army in 1991 and began a full-time effort to advance remote viewing technology, and to create teams of professional civilian Remote Viewers to work on complex projects.

In 1992, Ingo Swann wrote a letter to The American Society of Psychical Research, which included, among other things, a brief summary of his knowledge about Ed:

"He [Major Dames] was Targeting Director (sic) of the U.S. Intelligence Electronic & Security Command (sic), and assistant director of special operations (sic) in the DIA Directorate of Scientific and Technical Intelligence, and an area controller of special operations (sic) of Headquarters Department of the Army. For several years, he was mandated to brief on a daily and/or weekly basis DIA, NSA, other agencies, and, when circumstances required, the President and his advisors."
In order to bring this invaluable knowledge to the public, Major Dames held Remote Viewing workshops around the country in an effort to build a base of vocationally oriented Remote Viewers. This skill was quickly recognized by major TV networks and Hollywood studios that were awestruck by its accuracy and student success rate.

Remote Viewing training through live workshops was exploding in popularly but the number of people desiring to learn this declassifies protocol still far exceeded available workshop space. As a result, Major Ed Dames eventually released the long awaited, groundbreaking Learn Remote Viewing course (www.LearnRV.com) in order to reach thousands of new students globally.

The Learn Remote Viewing course is now the most advanced RV training program in the world, incorporating over 20 years of evolved, post-military operational knowledge. The training course utilizes the natural interactive menu system to provide a structured, comfortably paced training environment, with an effective mix of training targets, lectures, and feedback.

Interesting, not sure how I feel about this. I tend to be a skeptic about any sort of Psychic powers/ mind reading theories. I would definitely need to see some concrete proof of the success of this but I'm not really sure what that proof would be. Maybe I'm uneducated or ignorant or something but I just can't comprehend this type of stuff, but then I question the existence of God too and there is more evidence to support that theory. Maybe watching the movie Men Who Stare at Goats ruined it for me:( I would be interested to hear other views on this.

Men who state at goats is the equaling of every car blowing up when hit by a bullet and rolling over in a fiery crash when the tire blows out. Also in movies the good guy gets shot at 4000 times and without getting hit he can kill the bad guy by throwing a fork.

This is not movie it's real life. All the commitment from you is half a day of your time and the proof is when you do it for yourself. There is no point in me trying to prove it works because skepticism will remain, somebody would always think its a trick. My solution is to teach you how to do it. I will sweeten the deal, if by the end of the day you don't like what you do then don't pay and don't come back for day 2.

You must be one of those people who thinks the the world is still flat aren't you? You can't understand something television doesn't talk about? Your priest said remote viewing is not in the bible so it doesn't exist and you feel the need to ridicule something you have never seen or heard a out to me yourself feel safe?

That's a shame. A closed mind is the devils work. Maybe you're a government agent spying on these people? Why not instead take the day of free training and see that it works? Actually I rather you wouldn't you sound like the type of person that would just try to heckle and disrupt everybody learning. Just take your bible and hide under a rock you're not welcome

I have a year and a half experience, including advanced training. Does it work? Have a look;
http://www.learnrv.com/pop_videos/japan.cfm

I can teach you in person and answer all your question or you can buy the DVD (i will make nothing off that) and go that route. Both work, personally I like being able to ask a question.

When I read 'remote viewing' I thought this would be about reconnaissance and observation using proven fieldcraft, taught by an ex-military intelligence guy.

Sorry to say, its just a confidence game run by a confidence man.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing

It appears these people milked the U.S. defense budget for years, and then wrote books to milk the public. The intelligence cycle involves a certain amount of guesswork. The 'Intelligence assessment' is the development of forecasts of behaviour or recommended courses of action to the leadership of an organization, based on a wide range of available information sources . It is fallible. In this environment, 'Remote viewing' was a military project which became a comfortable home for people who knew how to work the system and get funding year after year.

If he's teaching a course in preparing an intelligence assessment, fine. But the claims in the videos hint at things that can't be accurately delivered.

When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fail, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.

it works, it has infinite amounts of uses. You can use it to diagnose your kids ailments, the next threat to your existence, your perfect mate.

Oh one more bit of info on Major Dames: In his spare time he uses his skill to look for abducted children-for free.

I actually believe in remote viewing, due to the fact that it works and I have seen it work.
I believe what Major Ed Dames has remote viewed in the future and the coming events that are going to pass soon.
There is still time to run for the hills, but for me BOV and BOL has just started.

OK, I've been watching this thread for a while...
At first, I thought about moving it to the Fringe area, but then thought that if the CIA actually admits to it's use, then it's quite a mainstream subject.
Then, when I found out this was a service being charged for, I thought of moving it to member businesses, but figured I'd see where it goes.
BUT NOW...
I just have a hard time with the suggestion that remote viewing be used for medical diagnosis...
let me ask you bandit86, are you really willing to back this up to the point of being responsible for peoples' lives?
especially those of children as you suggested?
Be very careful as you are now treading on some VERY legally problematic territory!

I have to admit that I have also been reading the thread and went though the same thoughts as Denob, Remote viewing is by many considered a fringe topic but its also main stream enough to be known by most folks, I also thought that if you are going to charge for the service that it needed to be moved from the main board to the business.

Once its in the business area, folks are then able to approach you if they are interest and if not.. then that is that!

However I do have to agree with Denob, please please be careful on what you claim can be done, there can indeed be legal issues with this sort of thing

Interesting topic.

First question: How much?
Second: When might you offer a workshop East of the GTA, price depending i may attend.

And finally, you posted links of prediction/visions of Japan etc, those were predictions made by others.
Have you had any of value personally?

I'm still a skeptic. After watching those videos that were posted it all seems rather generic to me. Predicting earthquakes, tsunamis, and nuclear meltdowns in Japan seems too easy, they get lots of 'quakes, they have reactors and quakes cause Tsunamis, 1+1+1=3. Also predicting that Steve Fossett died in the Sierra Nevada s is a no brainer... not to many landing strips in the mountains, the chances of Dying are great. and subways are a perfect target for terrorists, lots of people, enclosed area, and access to the whole city and there are coats of arms all over Europe with the lion on them, maybe it was the London bombings in 2005? There's not much use in "predicting" something if you don't try to stop it. Just my two cents, to each his own.
