Small scale, but solar water pumps are very efficient.... Depends on what you need though.

I am relatively new to this forum, and can't seem to send PMs. Any advice on how to activate that feature?

Why head east? There is an island to the west providing a nice natural barrier for the bulk of the 2.3 million to NOT reach.
