Hey, we made the news on The Intel Hub !!

"VICTORIA – In the last 48 hours a number of people in Sooke have reported feeling powerful tremors that some believe are an earthquake.

“I heard what sounded like a freight train coming, that rumble, and it was very brief. My bed actually shifted,” one Sooke homeowner told CTV News.

Seismologists say there are no indications of an earthquake in the Sooke area and all calling the recent reports a mystery."

I live near a quarry. The first couple of months after I moved in, I noticed the house would shake on Tuesdays and Fridays. I was freaked right out. Learned from a neighbour after feeling the shake, while talking to him, that the quarry blasted usually on those days. I thought I was going nuts or had vertigo or something. The quarry is a little over about 5 KM away. I would hate to live next door! Yikes!
