I was thinking the very same thing, talk, chat, subjective evaluation of the topic, but do not attack the person who posts, awesome !

Tks dang for the " accolades " as my wife called it...LOL interesting word for me..... Excellent. I want us to stay on topic: emergency preparedness. Conspiracy theories and religious mania are at best distractions; at worst, they're the perview of nutjobs and bring discredit to the Preppers community.

SHTF ... hmmm .. I wonder what could bring that about? Perhaps a solar flare, pole shifts, natural disaster, war....etc. But it is NOT a conspiracy that the Government is in fact run by power elite, it is NOT a conspiracy that the power elite want population control, and it is not a conspiracy that Health Canada knew 100% that GMO foods are dangerous to living organisms. Wake up people. Your liberty is under attack and not only should we be sharing the knowledge of "preparation techniques" as denob puts it but we have to ALSO prepare for the war on your mind. Who do you think owns most of the media we are force fed everyday ? Who ? ... The power elite that is who. Once again a fact, not a conspiracy. IF you think for one second that media outlets and governments have your best interests at hand and are these altruistic entities then you are in denial about the true evil that lurks in this world. Denob, if you are going to turn this into a censored environment then I think you are going to lose more members then the couple of fragile souls that claimed to be offended by the 'conspiracy related posts' you spoke about. TRUE preppers wouldn't just know what water filter is the best, or what gun to have if they only had to choose one, or how much freeze dried food you need to feed a family of 4 for 6 months... no, a True prepper is the one who ALSO understands the complete picture and the world powers who are involved.

I am saddened by the people who 'throw the baby out with the bath water' when it comes to topics that they are not open minded enough to discuss.

So if I talk about an economic collapse because of the intentional and systematic devaluing of fiat currency am I a conspiracy theorist ? ... Or a nutjob as patch420 would possibly refer to me as? If I discuss hyper inflation or the world bank am I a conspiracy nut?

Denob, may I suggest that so called conspiracy topics be outlined and defined (a concise and complete list of conspiracy topics) and rather than "ban" them they should have their own discussion thread ? ... now doesn't that make more sense?

Anyone who doesn't I may have to unfairly categorize you as part of the "sheeple heard" ... the folks who want to sanitize life and keep it simple and straight forward, and put the blinders on and ignore healthy discussion on topics that may scare them. They should scare you. Life is complex and intertwined and if you came to this site to get help with how much water to store but don't think other more political or philosophical or even esoteric topics are too taboo or "nut jobish" then well I guess you can tell on us and have us 'banned'. The sad thing is in the years to come you will realize that many (not all) but many of the so called conspiracy topics that offend you will start to materialize.

I suspect my standards for what constitutes swearing are rather old fashioned. 😯 That would not be allowed in my home...where would society be without some women to take a stick to y'all once in awhile. Naughty boys - play nice or I'll get out the soap!

Old fashioned or not.. I do not believe the individual's "sensibilities" over ride societal norms. The way the post was worded and the context do not constitute swearing. I am sorry if you have a different standard.... but is the standard here now become personal whim?
