Sorry so excited had to share. I just got back from a follow up appointment with my neuro ophthalmologist and ......... I am not going blind. Woo hoo 😀

It turns out the last 6 years of hell that I have gone through was for nothing, I just can't do the computer test for vision. All the brain scans(yes I have one & there is a small issue but not a tumor) ct scans & the various tests, my eye doctor panicking, planning out how I was going to look after my mom, how to get to work - if they had only done the manual test in the first place.

Most Likely dry eyes and stress are the reason for the black areas in my front vision plus "floaters"

yes, congrats..

Most Likely dry eyes and stress are the reason for the black areas in my front vision plus "floaters"

Drops I use are Murine Tears and Bausch and Lomb (sp, check them out)
floaters, I have them as well, weird especially if looking at a white or cream wall !

I know what you went through and how you felt, so it is great news
still waiting for my results with a better Doc..

Thanks all

It just dawned on me that I have spent the last year prepping for going blind. My mom getting sick made me realize that since I have no one, I needed to get rid of everything that requires sight to do. I got rid of most of my books, crafts & supples, canning stuff, etc.

Now I get to go shopping and replace some of it lol

Smiling.. I think there would be many on here who would disagree with your statement... "... I have no one"...

I don't really know you, but I'm very glad for you!

I think I can safely say that most of us take things like eyesight for granted. I know I'd find it a tough thing to lose myself.

Good health to ya!
