Covid -19 – What Else Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Search Amazon for Preparedness Supplies:

Preppers these days have their hands full while smack in the middle of a pandemic. Most have ramped up preparedness plans and are busy securing supplies for the unknown of the near future. But we can’t lose sight of other impending issues. Mother nature isn’t done with us yet.

Regional flooding has been a real issue the past few years. While progress has been made in many areas building dykes and taking other protective measures, rising waters will not be cancelled due to the virus! Make sure you have what you need to take care of this possibility such as pumps, fuel, and sandbags. The need for pre planned bug out locations has never been more important, especially with motels and hotels being shut down, not to mention that restrictions are being put on travel between regions!

As we move further and further into spring, storm season will be on our heels soon. Along with those seasonal thunderstorms comes power failures. Check your alternative energy gear and plans. Now is not the time to have to go looking for generator parts. Take advantage of the low fuel prices now. Use the savings on gas to buy a few extra jerry cans and stabilizer. Load test your equipment.

Dare I say that tornado and hurricane season are coming up too? There is no indication at this point that the covid-19 crisis will be over by the time these devastating storms start to roll in. Get ready with plywood and all other needs to mitigate the damage now before you find yourself in a crowded home renovation store fighting for supplies.

We know as preppers that any number of issues can present themselves at any given time. Covid-19 will not stop this. If life has taught us anything, it’s that problems tend to arise at the least opportune time. How much more inopportune could it be when we are already fighting a global crisis!

Keep prepping and remember to ask yourselves what else could possibly go wrong. The answer might surprise you.
