UPDATE: WINNER
As the CPN is a high-tech network, the contest winner was chosen after following a highly technical process (I have pictures of the process but can’t get them to upload!!!). Anyway, the process used was this:
1). All entries were counted (for example, Doug left the most comments (20), followed by Anitapreciouspearl (15), followed by Vancouver49 (12)).
2). I wrote each person’s entries on little scraps of paper and then folded them up into tiny bits.
3). The folded entries were put into a goldfish bowl (no goldfish were hurt during the process).
4). I shook the bowl and stirred the entries with my hand several times.
5). My husband shook the bowl and stirred the entries with his hand several times.
6). We set the bowl aside for a few hours to settle.
7). My husband (who is very technical!) selected a random entry.
8). And the WINNER is DOUG!
