Even if you don’t keep too close of an ear to world events, you likely can’t help but have heard rumblings of a nuclear war with Russia lately. Of course, I’m not the fear mongering public panic type, but I thought it might be a good idea to send a reminder…plant a seed of thought. In recent decades, the threat of a nuclear war has been diminished in the public view. We’ve slowly been conditioned not to think about it and keep being told that nuclear arms are being dismantled. This may or may not be true, mine is not to figure out what is truth and what is propaganda, but I am confident that there are nuclear weapons capable of mass destruction…and a lot of them no matter how many may have been decommissioned.
This week’s movie is “The Day After” , a made for TV movie that aired on ABC on November 20th, 1983.
Enjoy.
