It would seem to me that all of us would be wise to cultivate a close association with at least one person who has military experience. There seem to be several such persons on these posts. Any one of them has a wealth of training and special skills
i too have noticed this "presence" of military personel on these posts. So i'll just go ahead and say it, thank you. thank you for your service to this country you are truly heroes. That being said, i hope to learn as much as i can from those of you with this training, should you want to share your knowledge and experiences.
Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding. The tours I did in the Balkins and Afghanistan weren't for my country. I did it for my kids, I did it for your kids and their kids. Ideally, the things our military does will maybe, someday mean that our children won't have to do it. I know that it will probably never happen but wouldn't it be nice.
Those who are unwilling to defend freedom, will become unfree.
