If anyone from the Edmonton down to the Red Deer area has any old expired propane tanks they want to be rid of..PM me. I will in both areas this weekend and can pick them up if you want them gone.

Not making anything with them...just rounding some up to fill one last time and then put into long term storage..I like to put a few away each year. money in the bank you could say. 20,30 and 40 pounders are what I store, the 100 pounders are just too much for me to man handle now days.

I do the same thing at the cottage - decant new into expired tanks. The new ones are a PITA- can't get all the liquid out.
More propane put into long term storage...I have been warned to expect a major price increase come Jan 1st courtesy of our new government. Propane is currently 34 cents a liter.

After some thought I have deceided to say puck it and I will pay for expired tanks .10 dollars for a expired, but good condition, out side threads only on the tank , 20 pounder, 10.00 for a expired 20 pounders, and 20.00 for every expired 40 pounder...50 for every expired 100 pounder, I have a month to round these up, so for those of you in Edmonton . or near, see what you can round up and again I pay cash only, no questions asked. I need 10, 20 pounders, 5, 30 pounders, 3 or more 40s .Pm me I am easy to deal with, and will pick up.I need about 20 more tanks for long term storage.Thought I better up my storage before the coming price increase in the new year.

Look for free BBQ on kijiji. They often come with free tanks. you can then scrap the BBQ for a bit of cash. More work but free.
