Farmgal, that public park I mentioned last year is in Prescott along Hwy 401: right at the harbour, open with no trees secluding it, but a covered shelter with picnic tables. It's right at the edge of town across from Fort Wellington.
In Perth, there's TheLast Duel park and Smiths Falls has alot of areas at the locks.

If you can't make this one, please keep an eye out, as we will be having other local get togethers in the ottawa area (but most likely not quite that close, as we will move it within an hour or so around ottawa so that folks driving a bit of a distance get it going in a bit closer)
