After a long journey home from Preppers Meet 2026 and a much needed full night’s sleep, I’d like to take one more day off from posting articles and instead take a moment to personally thank a few people that made this event possible.
Primrose Park Campground:
Rose and Nancy were so welcoming and accommodating. We were lucky to find a last minute venue replacement and even luckier to have found a venue run by like minded individuals.
Great Ape Empire:
Having the military tent not only donated for the event, but set up in record time was a huge bonus. Over the course of the weekend many workshops and presentations were held there and on the off hours several attendees used it for sun shelter helping to keep them cool and out of the sun.
Canadian Prepper Podcast:
Most of you folks presented on a variety of topics and those who didn’t were certainly a huge help in setting up and tearing down. You are all an amazing group of individuals who’s contribution to the event was greatly appreciated.
Barefoot Bushcraft:
Setting up the archery range and making sure everyone was not only well educated, but done so in a safe and secure environment is no easy feat. Having Loco around the Admin camp was a welcome stress relief. I hope we didn’t spoil him too much!
Presenters:
Too numerous to name individually, you all brought your “A game” as usual. We look forward to working with you all for next year’s meet and creating partnerships well beyond that.
Vendors:
Again too numerous to mention individually, you all brought quality products as usual. There were many comments about you and I hope we helped promote your brands and made the weekend a success.
Volunteers:
The help in setting up the venue and running registration was an immeasurable help. I thank you all for your time and effort.
Attendees:
Your patience and understanding did not go unnoticed. We recognize that the last minute venue change was a cause for concern for many and I hope we were able to meet your expectations.
Tomara MacKay from Grit, Grind and Grace:
Saving the best for last…
For helping set up and tear down my booth
For helping run my booth while I was pulled in so many directions
For the unsolicited use of a vehicle so that I could move around the venue as needed
For being there for me to bounce my BS off
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I sincerely could not have done this without you!
