Just thought of a few more: Clothes pins, rubber boots, lice combs & magnifying glasses, old fashioned scrub brushes, elastic bands.

I think he's serious. If you get an IPhone solar charger you can use your IPhone for a lot of things like: photo album, books and maps storage etc.
ICRCC said:"He Snowandrain you missed your IPhone off our list!", suggesting I copied my list off his list and I was simply setting him straight...No big deal 🙂 An Iphone is a good idea...A broken cellphone is also usefull for parts 🙂 Also check out this link: http://artofmanliness.com/2012/06/14/survival-cell-phone/ This shows you how to use your broken cellphone for survival 🙂

medical staples, more reliable than butterfly bandages and quicker, less invasive and less painful than sutures.
"It's better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret"
I like your list snowandrain. I was wondering what you wanted the spray paint for? I'm thinking gerbil bedding is for starting fires, and I am hoping you have kids for the soothers as I can't think of any other uses-lol.
And morning coffee I agree with using steri-strips and butterflies instead of stitches-more chance for infections to drain.
Juicy-that bathtub bag isn't such a dumb idea if someone is bugging-in in the city.
Spray paint for communicating with friends/foes or for a DIY solar water heater with PVC pipes, or camouflage. Soothers to pacify BABIES ONLY...ha!

The gerbil bedding (sawdust) is for making large emergency candles as a source of heat...sawdust and paraffin wax burn a long time...

So if the teen-agers are wimpering in the cold I just shove moss in their mouths-lol. I was organizing some stuff tonight and think one should have latex gloves, rubber gloves (kind for washing dishes) and many, many gloves of all kinds for working with. Our hands are going to be the things most prone to injury and the most important to take care of.
