As the header reads, is there any interest in setting up a casual meeting in the Calgary region at an outdoor venue in the Spring?

No agenda, just a get to know who's in the area. Maybe more experienced people can provide answers or resources to newbies...

reply to the thread if interested.

In the past we've met at Bragg Creek, Cremona, Irricana, Nanton, Cochrane, and of course, in the city itself on several occasions.

I will contact them but we were thinking a casual event at a park or local day-area instead for this one.

Not many responses yet though, so I'm not going to get too excited just yet lol

Any interest? Recently moved back to Calgary and would be keen to see what group looks like these days.

Cheers

No one has pm'd me, so what you see is all I've heard as well.
It would be good to see you again. Even if just to catch up.

I don't log in very often but try at least every couple of weeks.

Your more than welcome to use our warehouse any time you'd like - even for casual hanging out with a small group. No sales pressure, no agenda needed. Just let me know.

It is my intent to set up several real meetings throughout the year with proper speakers and topics, and I'll connect in with you guys on those when I can finally nail down at least basic details with my crew.

Dang,

I am away for a couple of weeks. Would be good to go anytime after the 4th. Pm me and we will set something up. Can't believe how long it's since that first awkward meet.

Cheers

I'm in.

On this topic... do you want just for a couple hour meet and greet as we have done in days of yore or make this a weekend campout up at Waiparous for an idea? I'm for either.

No matter how good or bad your life is, wake up each day thankful because someone somewhere else right now is fighting for theirs

Sounds good all.
I'm fine with using your parking lot, just didn't want to throw a bunch of work at you lol.

Scotty, I'm thinking that the camping expedition would have to be a separate affair. Maybe there is somewhere more central that could draw Edmonton and Red Deer areas as well for such an activity?

Still not a lot of interest by the numbers, so I'm not sure if we should just pick an April date and give it a try rather than waiting for the perfect scenario?

Thoughts?

Briden,
Do you prefer a saturday or sunday?

Any blackout dates in April and May?

I'm already booked for May 13th and 20th weekends...
