I am from the area. There are lots of preppers there, they just may not be so computer literate.

really???? No one from my area prepping? What is it that makkes people be so secretive about it? I don't want to take your stuff...I have my own stuff....I would just like to talk with people that are in my area. There should be some sense of community/group aware of what could happen and what to do if it does...anyone?...or do I just keep looking west for friends and ideas?

wouldnt it be weird if one day many years from now (hopefully) when SHTF (or unhopefully I guess) a group of strangers shows up at your property and says "Its us! Buggie! and Dangphool! And mountainman and the rest of the gang! Let us in! We came accross a Potato Chip ad Twizzlers truck just down the road! there is plenty for all!"

lol! I love twizzlers! and cheezies...and nibs....ok now Im wishing I had some! lol Would be fine with me...I hate the thought of my husband and I alone here, and if something happened to one of us the other would be alone...scares the heck out of me

I believe we were referring to the ipsc course we had taken together perhaps? I can't recall now... I just took the last project management course I needed but I'm still disorganized; only now I recognize what I'm doing wrong 😳
What a great day....finally met a like-minded person in my city, he is just starting out it seems....I already knew him just never knew we were of the same type...lol I have invited him to the canadaprepper.com and this site...as well as informed him of the meeting in July.
217 people have come here...no one coming forward yet?!@#...very frustrating

Remember, if shtf for real; you may have a network of us passing past you first to get to a safe zone, or perhaps swinging your way to meet you and carrying on. After a few more meetings I'm hoping that we'll start to get a better idea of where a few good rendezvous points would be based on a set of particular scenarios.
