I buy things wherever I can find them.. Superstore, Quality Foods, Walmart, Cabela's, Army Surplus Store.
Wholesale Sports has quite a bit of gear such as tents, stoves, food, fuel, firearms, ammo and you name it.
Weekends are usually set aside for doing the rounds. Mind you I have all of this in a 10 city block radius so it's pretty easy for me.

Depending on what you're looking for, you can generally browse online catalogs for various stores. I don't use credit cards either, but that's because I know the vulnerabilities associated with them.

Once you know exactly what you want, search for places that carry it. Some of your local stores may be able to special order it for you. If not, maybe you know someone in your area that travels near one of those stores that can pick it up on their next trip. Or perhaps you know someone who lives near one of those stores who can pick it up and put it on the bus for you.

Another option is to call the store and ask them how much it would be to put on the bus or in the mail or whatever. Quite often they'll send it collect and you can pay the shipping charges on receipt. Just mail the store/supplier a money order which you can get at the bank.

Get connected to a prepper group who does group purchasing. You tend to save a bit when numerous people buy in bulk.

I checked this store out. Some good ideas but very pricey...

- 😀 how about taking a $3.00 dump- http://totalprepare.ca/product/restop-2-disposable-travel-toilet/
people don't really buy such as this do they? Does a bear crap in the woods.... so why don't you? 😆

- a wash n Go kit $55.00 http://totalprepare.ca/product/wash-n-go-compact-sinkorganizer/
Are you really gonna lug something like this around? And pay that much? Use a bucket and stuff other crap in it too... 🙄

- First Aid Response: wow this stuff is rich! http://totalprepare.ca/shop/first-aid-disaster-response/mass-trauma-first-aid-kits/
Nice concept, Seems you can by tackle boxes like that too an d make them MUCH cheaper...yet some have placecards so ya can read if it's triage or a just a First Aid station...? Silly me, wrong lineup...do I have to start again...ignore my blood puddles...! 😕

- Radiation detectors: $289-$989 http://totalprepare.ca/shop/radiation-detectors/ Ok, it shows were radioactive, now what? 😆 If that craps happens, I'm not going to worry too much about what is or isn't radioactive...your screwed and you'll know soon enough anyways. On the good side, if you were already bald, hair loss won't bother you so much! 😉
