Hello Fellow Preppers
As we are all aware, there is a North Island meet up, I Submit to you SIM2013. (South Island Meet up)
I am looking for like minded, real, serious preppers interested in starting a network, developing relationships, sharing information and strengthening our prepping ideologies. The eventual out come would be a annual meet up and the creation of a core group of dedicated members with specific jobs based on the strengths.

I see Duffman and Islandpreppers are asking for a meet up. I believe styxxnstones is also in Vic. Maybe you should PM them to elicit a better response?
Let us know too as a few of us will possibly make the effort to come down and join in.

here's my idea
i live in the west shore but making my way to victoria is no problem, so i suggest either a west shore meeting or a downtown/esquimalt meeting place, as for time and date, i was thinking end month ish to give time to prepare questions ideas ect.
You need to have 3 posts before you can PM. I'd be into a trip down as well!
We can meet either in the Westshore area or Esq/Down town area we are in a fairly central location which makes it easy for us to get almost anywhere in town within 15 mins....End of the month works good for us to, keep us posted on location, date and time.

I think esquimalt would be most central, say the tim hortons by wendy's on the 31st of march at around 1 pm

sorry its by an A&W not a wendys, theres a subway and a shoppers in the little strip mall.
waited at tim hortons for 2 hours......no one showed. would have been nice if i would have been told that no one was actually gonna show.
i can now affirm my assumption that there are few serious people here, sorry for wasting your time

I joined this forum to find like minded people who are serious about prepping. As you know, there are a ton of people who like to talk about doing things, but the number of people that take consistent, decisive steps is few.
I am one of the few and am looking to find others on the island who want to share ideas, experiences, and ultimately support each other's progress.
If you decide to get this going again let me know. Or reach out directly.
I will post on the forum from time to time, and will be perusing it pretty much daily.

I say we meet in duncan. Ive prepped my whole life, and really started researching things in depth for the last 12.
