Nurse Amy is a registered nurse practitioner and midwife who is an accomplished urban homesteader. She has her own ideas regarding medical care using preventative care and nutrition, and gives advice regarding the establishment of the edible and medicinal garden.
Although Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy like to discuss medical care and food production, other aspects of preparedness are fair game for discussion in each and every show.
This is because we are not your average conventional medical types and may put forth alternative advice not in the medical mainstream.

John's guests will be: Ceci a new host on the Prepper Podcast Radio Network who is the product of typical rural midwestern America with farming in her family tree for generations. Living on the Mississippi River with parents who loved the outdoors, she grew up in corn fields and backwaters. Traditional skills and crafts have been a part of her life her since childhood. But, it was the Flood of 1993 that impressed upon her the importance of emergency preparedness and was the key event starting her on the road to becoming a prepper. A few years later, that prepper attitude paid off when she was unable to work for almost two years due to hemiplegic migraines with stroke-like symptoms and intermittent blindness. Since that time and her renewed health, she has refocused and increased her dedication to prepping by becoming a nurse and continuing to develop essential prepper skills. Well folks, I have been presented with a unique opportunity to join the ranks of the other great show hosts on the Prepper Podcast. If you follow the podcasts, then you probably already know that an expansion to a 24/7 network is on the horizon. I was thinking of hosting a show that would be aimed at Canadian preppers and showcase Canadian content. My question to all of you is would you be interested in such a weekly live podcast and if so, what kinds of topics would you like me to discuss. Of course, during the podcasts, listeners are invited to call in and take part in the show with questions and comments.
I am several months away from getting this going, but I am looking for input from all of you before I go ahead with any plans.

Perhaps an interview with some of the Canadian companies such as Briden or In Case Of. What they suggest for the first steps of prepping, some of the must have equipment. There are so many more options to buy preps in the USA than here and often we pay more so any budget ideas, things like what can be used from Canadian Tire or ordering items from the US. Let us know if you do decide to host a show, what a terrific compliment to be asked.

I have been a regular listener of The Prepper Podcast for quite some time now. There are some shows I can miss from time to time, but there are many more I just can't NOT listen to. Right now, the podcast is in a full blown expansion to a 24/7 format and is looking for new hosts. I have been told that they are interested in adding more Canadian content and are looking for more Canadian hosts for shows. Right now, they only have one Canadian show, Life on a Wild Horse Ranch, which can be heard on Fridays at 8PM central time. If you would like to know more about the podcast, the best way is to tune in and listen to some of the shows. Hey there, I can not listen to it due to the fact that I am using a Rogers Rocket Stick and it is literaly no good for things like this. For every mb it costs me 3 mb to download using the stick.
