Well I hear a lot of people talking about a meet, but no action. So I will put my money where my mouth i, and jump in. I would like to set up a meet 10:30 am Sunday 21 October 2012. At Arby's fast food joint located on Wellington rd just south of the 401. It is beside a Tim hortons, a Burger king(abandoned), and a Costco. It is less than an hour from Kitchener and Chatham. it is central to a large area of folks that have stated they would like to meet. Hope to see you there This gives three weeks notice for those that don't check here everyday it is easy find, not too early and should not be busy at that time, there is a sunroom area at front of the restaurant where we can meet. Pls message if interested or not, just to gauge interest worst case I will be having lunch at Arby's and then picking up some preps at Costco, then grab a coffe on the way home.

This is just a meet and great bring what you want or not or just to share info. I would suggest a couple blank USB drives I can offer a wealth of data, too much to post online. If interested in some thing specific just ask I have a few friends, sometimes they find things

I didn’t mean to drive any one away, I don’t know everything (if I did I'd be a Trillionaire by now), and my people skills suck. But what I do know is that there has to be a first step before trust is started. An informal meeting (coffee house?) is often the best, just to pass Ideas around, and to get form your opinions of the people you meet. The ones you get to know better (not necessarily trust), you can make further plans with. Will I be at the next meeting, It depends on where I'm working at the time.

Hi Kevin!!

Your post brought me here. Hello fellow Londoner preppers too! I'm a newbie who would love to meet with others in London Ont who take this seriously and would like to partner up to form our own secret survival community. We can each bring our experiences or resources to the table as Ranger2012 suggests and accomplish more in a shorter period of time if we do it together. Safety is always in numbers. But I'm looking for 100% trustworthy loyal, committed, unselfish, determined people who will keep a secret and put the safety of the group before themselves all the way to the grave if need be. I have U.S. Army,Police,Security,weapons/firearms,self defense, forensic science, basic medical care, and a lot of other training/experience to be very useful to any community. My friends believe one day we will face hell on earth but they aren't preparing or they think our corrupt government will save them. I seriously want to start preparing now but realize I cannot do so on my own, one single person, with all but one family member far away. I'm sure there are other loners out there in the same boat or small families who want to join forces. So if any Londoner's are interested please get in touch so we can meet. Thanks 😀

Is there a regular meet and greet in the London area?

Sorry about missing any prior meeting but, I'm doing security guard work now and my hours aren't cast in concrete. As it is I'm doing 3-1/2 x 12hr graveyard shifts that are spread out and sleep during the day. Screws me up totally.

Hi Londoners,

Just joined, so missed the Oct meeting...was it successful? We just want to introduce ourselves, my username for now will work for both of us - he's an IT guy and I'm a student of Osteopathic manual medicine. We are fairly new preppers living in the surrounding area, but I think we'd have much to offer a community. Mostly, we feel that some major collapse is imminent, but are finding it very difficult to discuss and plan with our family and friends - which brings us here. It's an unfortunate reality that we may not be able to support all of them if the time comes, and now we need to look to a more realistic community. Can anyone do a weekday meeting anytime from the 17th to 21st (Dec)? Cheers, coourt.

its tough getting people together in the London area due to various work and family commitments. I would still like to eventually have some sort of meet and greet.

It's tough getting people together in any area. I am trying to work on a Hamilton area group. We try to get together about once a month. Feel free to join in if you see something that interests you.
