the middle east has always been, and it seems will always be a hot spot for revolutions/uprisings.
The fact that Iran had big words for the western world the other night really freaked me out though.

I don't think people understand completely how much hatred is there. Iran (the gov.) hates the US. Their leader is a nut job who is probably only in office because he does exactly what he is told. This will reach a boiling point. That is what scares me the most.
We will never know exactly what they have in their arsenal. We won't know until it is too late.
I realize we are not Americans but, will they really care if the bomb hits New York or Toronto? Probably not as long as it hits North American soil.

Has anybody out there heard of the web bot project and what it has to say about the Iran situation?

thing is, he's far from being a nutjob....actually quiet a smart guy. hes very religious and yet he is always wearing a western suit, never traditional muslim garb. he makes comments giving the impression he's complelty crazy. however, i think hes setting the world up for a bit of a finacial fall...hes going to destroy the dollar, not because he hates America, but because it secures his countries finacial future...he will have the nuke, sooner than we like, and unlike Pakistan he will have the delivery system to use it, but never will. in ten years time Iran will be a nuclear power with the worlds second largest oil supply. i really can't see anyone taking military action against them...israel don't have the firepower without resorting to nuclear means and lets not forget behind the scenes Russia and China are backing Iran. (Russian and Iranian warship are currently docked in Syrian ports as a deterent to the west) im not worried about Iran, even if they go nuclear....i am worried about Israel taking military action, because that will draw everyone into a conflict with no winners.

CNN is a propaganda arm of the White House. You're more than welcome to watch it. But using it as a paragon of a news source is like saying Wikipedia is unbiased information.

Ahmeddinajad is a spart guy. As none of us speak Parsi, his comments can be "mistranslated" His and the Mullah's comments were "mistranlated." The 'wipe Isreal off the face of the planet' comment was actually more along the lines of all things shall pass. As the USSR fell so will they. Try www.tarpley.net Know that Tarpley's biases are agaisnt Ron Paul's economic ideas. For obvious reasons.

As for destroying the dollar; not sure how he can do that. A central bank could do that of a nation. They could destroy it's value by creating an oversupply. They could print more money and call it um, Quanitative Easing" Easing into a hyperinflationary scenario by increasing the quanitity. There is a technical paper "Asset" called derivative. They are most like hockey pools. You bet on the performance of someone but you don't have anything to do with him. But if your brother knew the training of a team who said their superstar is playing with a non-serious injury you can get everyone in the office to bet on him while you bet against them. You will win based on insider information. This is similar to what happened to Greece, Ireland, Iceland, ect. In Greece the two biggest bettors were France and Germany.

Russia will back Assad. They have a warm water port in the Med at Tartus. This has been a Russian Naval wet dream for generations. Russia and China are also rather pissed at how NATO divided the spoils of Libya and lied to them. China had 70,000 workers in Libya. The debacle of Libya is slowly unwinding. They caught Ghaddafi because he had an iron clad garuantee that he had safe passage out of town. Then they laid an ambush for him and the rest was on CNN. He had to die and not face trial because of what he knew. Same as the guy in Tunisia who had a stroke. Same as the guy in Eypt who had a stroke. I suspect it won't be long until Hillary start claiming assad has WMD.

Russian and China are acting legally. The UN Charter prevents interference in another country unless that country is a clear and persent danger to its neighbours. SO America, North Korea and Isreal are higher on that list than Iran in most sane circles. (I sense I'm going to get flak for that one....)
Outside of CNN, Mouse Blizter will dissagree but his old job was a lobbyist for Isreal.

Bottom line; Don't trust one news source. Find several. Russia Today is great The Drudge Report is the biggest news source in the English language, Tarpley is great. Infowars/prison planet are good but get to learn the bias of your news source asap so you know what you're being fed. It goes into your brain.

Bingo!

I had a 33.% chance of getting it right. It was either her, Samantha Powers or Susan Rice. Those three fine patriots lobbied hard for the Libyian 'humanitarian intervention'. aka Invasion. But I knew Hillary was at the 'Friends of Syria' Conference. That's the actual name of it. No Syrian representative though. And it's bombing. Check out CNN and you'll see it's a great success. Sewerstream media is highly predicatable.

Not to interrupt the conversation, but it seemed the right thread to post this to...and a little too close to home.
