NIghthawk,
We are all looking forward to some before and after pics of your BOV rig. M-35 is a good platform to start with. Sounds like a great project!
Good luck,
Mountainman.
cant seem to upload pics
nighthawk,
I am not mastered uploading direct to the Forum either. I have a membership at Tahoe Yukon Forum where it is easy to upload pics to my photo-album there or I write an entry to my blog. Once my pictures are at Tahoe Yukon Forum or my blog I right click on the picture and then left click on properties. Usually, the picture will have a name that starts with www. and end with .jpeg
Maybe Denob or one of the others can sound off with some advice for uploading pics direct from a computer to this Forum???? ICRCC?? WildE??? JustABear?? Anyone??

Update:
Re: Tech Help Uploading Pics
Just under the post window, you will see a tab titled "Attachments".
Click on the tab and choose your file to upload with the browse button.
Once the photo is uploaded, you will need to click the "Place Inline" button.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Denob!!
Thanks for the PM GC. I will post what I do to post photos here so Nighthawk and others can read it. When you go to your post type your text in the normal way. When you are ready to insert you picture there is a tab at the bottom left of the page, below the "save draft", "Preview" and "Submit" tabs. It is next to the "Options" tab. Once you click on the tab you can browse the folders on your drive to find the picture. Before you upload it would be a good idea to compress it so it is the Kb range and suitable for a web page. Many programs will do this, I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. You can also add a file comment too if you wish.
Thanks i'll give it a try.
Very nice... Looking forward to seeing the work in progress.
Very nice. I really like what these guys do to deuce & a halfs. http://www.ccsurplus.com/ A bobbed 4x4 crew cab m35 would be pretty badass imo
Nighthawk,
Do you have your harvest in?? Have you been able to invest any time lately to your BOV?? Any sneak-peek photos of current upgrades??
Hope all is well. Keep us posted, we live vicariously through your project, LOL!! I, for one, look forward to seeing the finished product.
Cheers,
Mountainman.
I guess you are not planning on getting stuck!
Did you consider a Unimog? If you did, why did you go with the M 35 instead?
Not being critical, just wondering.... 🙂

Holy crap Batman, I use to drive one of those in the military and it was older than Jesus and me. (pre-1955) 😯 I would think that unless you bought another one for spare parts, your going to be up sh!ts creek if/when it breaks down. Hell the ones we had were in the shop a lot because the mech's were waiting for parts to be made. I never like the trans-auto shift in those things. I sorry guy but, I hope that you are on God's favorites list, because its going to take divine intervention to keep that old running. 😥

So been workin on the old [ya its old] 6x6. Mostly on driveline. All new driveshafts, t-case, m cyc and such. Repaired all lights and electrical. Ya thought about a Mog but part tough to get locally now so woulld be even harder in a bad case. The 6x6 is tough to but i have a good inventory so not worried. The idea of a multi fueled engine is what really made my mind up. The auto does suck but Im not going into combat so i will live with it. I do have a spare trans and a create engine for it. I also have a good source of biodiesel right close to home. Besides its only one of my BOV lol.
Howdy Nighthawk,
Thanks for the update. I guess with all your hard work on the driveline and power train, there are not any new pics??
Cheers,
Mountainman.
