Were you all thinking of just having a coffee in the parking lot? Is there a place to grab a caffeinated-beverage in Bragg Creek?

I'm guessing that this will be an informal meet and greet so that we can put a face to names (and to identify those of us who are borderline crazy versus only mildly paranoid 😉

I'm still not sure if I can make it or not: we still have some renovations to do before we move out at the end of the month...

I hope you guys have a good time. I wish I could go but Fort McMurray is a long drive. Maybe next time.

Yes, Rain or Shine I will show my support and be there, too.

No doubt about it, a sunny, +20C, cloudless & windless day would be too much to ask for, especially in Alberta. LOL. Should be a good opportunity to start networking or get some ideas.

See you there,

Mountainman.

I have been setting up a date for a meet and greet. Bridonsolutions started it and has disappeared. I have continued this with gc.mountainman..
It looks like we have good traction for May 6th 2012 at Bragg creek. This will take place in the parking lot behind the shell service station.
Bring your Thermos and a snack.We will rally for 12 noon this will be a very casual first meeting to get to know Calgary and any other Prepper that wishes to attend..
We welcome any and all to bring there ideas and prepping experiences to help each other...
I will be driving a silver 2 door Jeep Unlimited it will be parked in the middle of the parking lot.
I truly look forward to meeting all of you and starting, what I think will be a great net work of people to share Ideas and knowledge with...

Sincerely;
Traveller...

Sorry Traveller and others for dropping off the map like that, it certainly was not purposeful. I'm happy to hear that a meet up was finally successful and I look forward to taking part in many more around Alberta in the coming months. As for Briden and dropping off the map - we have been dealing with some very intense "stuff" here in our world lately and it has taken every moment from me and the entire crew here. I'm not able to spill the beans quite yet, but we have some darn big news that we will be announcing in the coming weeks. I'll keep you posted.

Well... I missed that last meeting. How about a new one? I would like to see a weekend camp out so we can sit around, have a brew and just chat things out. You really get a vibe about people when you spend some time with them in a chill environment. Trust is everything. If anyone knows of a large property where we can all tent/camper for a friday and saturday this would be perfect. Ideally NOT at a preppers location. We always need to travel that fine line of trusting people but not entirely. When SHTF even those you trust might not be so trustworthy right? First names only, no addresses or phone numbers. Email addy's only.

Your thoughts please?
