Just an update, place has not changed. I will probably buy a whitetail tag. There could be a small charge from owner for use because there are more of us and I am still talking it over with owner. Possible dates at the moment is Jan 25-27.

I teach the week of the 20 to 24th so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. I don't have much in the way of winter gear either so I might be interested in going for the day to see what people are using and what is working well. Were you going to be going deep into the woods?

How many are we looking at having now? I'm looking forward to it, nice to have a date to plan for. Does anyone need any supplies that hasn't done much winter camping that we could pool together to make sure everyone's looked after?

To accommodate everyone is it OK pushing the dates to the first or second weekend of February?

It looks like I won't be able to join you guys (will be in Africa then). But have a great time. If it goes well for u, maybe we could do it next year?
