How long do your meetings last?
About a hour but sometimes 2
I was wondering if everyone would be interested in doing a food storage meeting this time of shelf reliance I've looked into just a thought and there's alot of free food to try or we can just do the regular get together
Let me know who would be interested

we will be shopping at Briden Solutions outside Calgary on Thursday that week for a years worth of supplies ....I heard Incaseof there sells the same items but we won't need to go there then...or is that what you meant? I would appreciate a meeting that involved sitting down indoors and having a coffee and a visit.
I sell the stuff but you can buy it cheaper than incase sells it but its what everyone what's to do it was a thought

I'm not sure if you noticed one of my other Alberta threads but I looked into the "zombie survivalist" group in Calgary on the Meetup.com social website. One of their activities is meeting in a community center that they rent on a weeknight to learn about food storage and it looks like they discuss cooking with dehydrated food as well. I'm planning on checking it out this week. It is not a weekly meeting but something they've done a few times in the past it looks like. I guess that may be too far for you guys to travel for on a weeknight though?
Some of them are planning on attending our April meeting in Calgary. They may have advice for organizing something along the lines that you're mentioning LG...
Ill have to look into that

It is too far and husband is working.....I am trying out a new system WHOLE FOODS KITCHEN by Teresa Foster, she has you tube videos and a website 3dHealth Net...it is working great so far.
Let's cut to the chase. Bulk buys get better prices. If Duffman wants to step up to the plate, perhaps we ought to combine our orders for a month or 6 weeks in advance and see what kind of price we can get on a 'bulk order'. If enough people, order enough goods, I am sure that we can get a better price per item, based on volume alone. If nothing else, considerable savings ought to be realized on shipping alone. I have no problem passing a few bucks to Duffman for his efforts because NO ONE can be expected to work for free.
While I would like to support local business, if they are not willing to pass on savings to the consumer I will pass my business on to their competitor.
Than= I’d rather be rich than poor.
Then= I first became hungry then I ate.
There = She is there now.
Their = They have their things.
They're = They're going to the mall.
To = They came to the house.
Too = That's too bad.
I have no problem just doing a big order for everyone or just one and they pay what I pay I'm here to help everyone get food storage plus if anyone in Calgary does an order I go there once a month and have no problem bring orders with me there

Duffmanprepper do you have a price list? We were going to Briden because we are in Brooks but are going to Turner Valley the same day for a course that night so thought we would go do our shop at Briden in the day, go to Turner Valley for the evening and course, come home as husband has an event to go to the next day then come to Lethbridge for your meeting the day after...Do you also have sun ovens, volcano stoves?
I have one I can print out but what they charge you minus 10-20 lol
I'm wanting to do a big order for everyone on the network so we pay for shipping once and get alot for cheap
