Mostly just been doing the work thing. Put in a couple hours volunteering with the Scouts at the Tree Lot selling Christmas Trees. We have great support in our local area. The folks around here really support the groups that give the kids something useful to do with their time.

In the new year our Scout group will be heading out for some snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and some winter camping. I hope I am off for at least some of these events.

I agree with you the Forum has changed radically from the Spring. The late Autumn period has seen a big quieting on the pages. Not enough topics or not enough chatter to get others engaged. Not really sure what the solution is.

Once people start new resolutions and the media drama over a millenia-old calendar blows over; perhaps the traffic will tick back. More likely with more people of the self-reliance angle than of the doom and gloom?
