EMP's have no lasting negative effects on animal nervous systems. Neurons in the human nervous system carry their signal chemically not via current like a wire in an electrical circuit so EMPs would have no effect.

I like the cave solution. Maybe it's the neanderthal in me.

IRICC, that was my next work project for my animals. The dogs have metal crates with plastic liners. I've been checking for pet protection, and not finding really anything worthwhile. So your satement is really appreciated, thank you. I'm a steel town girl....Hamilton, Ontario. Westmount Secondary School. Not a true Albertan lolol
OH DEAR LORD, more children have been killed at school. We are securing our homes, shelters, food an water, and we send them to school unprotected....... Why the children...... It brings to light the coming of terrible times to come. There be Angels now.

what about pacemakers?

Not good news. A pacemaker would likely not survive. So it would depend on what the patient needed the pacemaker for. If they were totally dependant it they would be in big trouble.

That's unfortunate. I see a lot of people with pacemakers in my line of work. The emergency medical response needs from people going into cardiac arrest would overload civil responders alone... Let alone all the other emergencies that would be taking place.

See you all after.

Probably not. There would be no way to call 911. There would be no operational dispatch centre and emergency vehicles would not operate. Everyone would be on their own.

A pacemaker inside a Faraday cage should be unaffected. That said, it would be wise for a person with a pace maker to monitor space weather to some extent. I dare say it would take an extreme CME to affect pacemakers, the likes we have not seen in a very long time. On the down side we are overdue for a Carrington type event.

If you want links to space weather PM me.

An HEMP from a nuclear attack and exposure to an EMP from an EMP weapon would put those with pacemakers who were exposed at risk. However a naturally generated EMP is unlikely to be as intense. Although it could be devastating for our wired infrastructure, power grid and telephone lines, pacemakers might escape unaffected. Even a CME as large as the Carrington Event might not be of a magnitude large enough to disable a pacemaker. The only problem is we have no idea how strong a naturally occurring EMP could be. The good news is that there is only a very small chance that we will be hit by a truly massive naturally produced EMP. The chances of being hit by a HEMP you can assess for yourself.

Looking to start Advocacy Group in Lethbridge. Let's get going, meet, discuss in a safe environment, support each other, maintain secrecy amongst us all. We need to see what Canada is doing about Re-education Camps here etc. I'm done waiting for more information to come along for us up here, the Americans have done a great job so I'm doing this myself.....FOR ALL CANADIANS. I have worked four years on Canada's frontlines defending Canadians. I was forced retired by my Government. So I still feel strongly to continue to defend/educate my fellow Canadians. Is there anyone out there, that would like to meet for coffee/tea and see how we can proceed? Please send email to evelinaellingham@yahoo.ca. Whatever info we gather, yes will be passed onto you on here. Members of course will be protected. I really look forward to your email. Enjoy the day.

Keeping on with Ison.......

If Ison drags our planets poles, the force would crush us would it not? Those who would be out of a sturdy structure, would they not be sucked up to the sky? Has anyone thought about installing anchors thru their basement floors, tying down their supplies and items to tie down themselves? Do we need to stock up on summer or winter clothes? How long will the rotation take you figure...... In Byron Kirkwoods book, Survival guide for the new millennium..... He speaks of an event were humans will not be able to lift themselves off the floor, so to have candles, toilet stuff, easy open foods and water because the pressure on our bodies will be so intense we won't be able to move. This is to be a 3 day event apparently. Is that what we are headed for? Just saying......
