Hey Guys,
Anyone in the Edmonton area? I've been prepping for a while, now I found this place. I'm looking forward to having some conversations with you all.
What are your thoughts on the water situation? Any ideas on making a fire driven water distiller? I have drunk distilled water my whole life. I have a Berkey Water filter tucked away. Of course a well is the thing but I don't have that yet.

Hi.

I also am from the Edmonton area. If anybody wants to meet up and chat at a coffee shop or something, I'd be interested in attending.

Thanks.

I have a well but of course my pump is electric and even if I change over to solar, that would be affected by an EMP. Your fire run distiller sounds interesting.

Well, I'm usually free on Friday or Saturday afternoons.

If anybody wants to suggest a place that would be convenient to meet ... possibly a coffee shop so that people can trickle in at slightly different times as needed ... maybe near either the Yellowhead or Anthony Henday for any out-of-towners (e.g. Pigeon Lake) to have easy access.

I'm in the NE quadrant but am willing to drive around a bit (although I'd prefer not to navigate down town), if needed.

I look forward to your responses.

Have a great weekend.

Saturdays sound good! I'll be driving in from Westlock since that's where my new patch of dirt is 🙂 Fridays (after work) June 26th onward are also free for me.

Ok, I may have been born at night but it sure wasn't last night, you said "Just joined just starting to prep " you have been a member since july of 2012, have you just been parold? , released, recovered from amnesia?

btw, I was just in SP visiting friends,How the hell do you find your way around?, all named streets, circular roads, I would rather have a root canal than try and find a address their, and I wont even start on the radar traps

Lol about SP. GPS required I think. Seems each district has a theme (tree names for instance ). Does knowing that help-not at all. Glad I don't go there often.

Yes, its crazy, I loved Edmonton cause you can find your way around, they now are getting stupid in some areas with names... I actually refuse to go to business in SP because of it, I don't need the grief
