Am I the only one a little spooked that 2013 is the "year of the snake"? Seems like in financial corners it might be true.

Has anyone spotted here on the forum a thread tracking the value of Gold and Silver? Perhaps it's in this thread... I am still reading it and only on pg 2 at the moment. I think by keeping a monthly eye on the value of precious metals you can get a real indicator of what is happening to the economy. In truth... outside of a viral event... the failing economy is the biggest survivable event we should watch for (in my opinion). If such a thread doesnt exist... perhaps it's time to make one?
