Having been away from gardening for decades and recently picking it up again I am absolutely convinced that the produce that I grow not only tastes better than store bought but has higher nutritional value as well. It would appear that Natural Society has proved this to be true for at least GMO corn. While the top of the analysis chart ought to raise your eyebrows the red print at the bottom ought to really disturb you.

Public pressure does work on retailers. I have contacted my favorite grocery stores head office and did speak to the produce buyer about GMO produce. He told me that they quit buying GMO produce quite some time ago because of concerned consumer pressure.

I avoid GMO like Highway 2 in a snowstorm, so don't think I'm supporting it... Someone did post this link in the comments:

Is it a Monsanto employee? maybe.
Is it a load of BS? mabye.
Worth reading? I think so.
GMO's are unsustainable in their very nature. We are grow 100% heirlooms - All organic baby!!
I never thought costco shelving could be so amazing
The problem is not the GMO's themselves. That is an unknown. The problem is that they are able to douse the plant with persistent toxins multiple times during growth, the plants are sucking it up from the soil. You can't wash this stuff off, it's IN the food.
Go ahead and find out what things like attrazine and glyphosate do to you and ask if they should be in our food supply.

My take on this is, if Monsanto will go after a farmer who grows non Monsanto wheat that get cross pollinated with Monsanto wheat via bees and/or wind and take that farmer to court over patent infringement when the farmer stores his seed for next year, why pray tell haven't they shut down a web site posting false information about their corn?
Monsanto has VERY deep pockets and a VERY effective legal department but haven't moved on Natural Society who posted this study? Could it be true? Maybe. With the political connections Monsanto has I am surprised that Natural Society hasn't been shut down truth or not.

I'm not pro-Monsanto but the first thing I did when I seen this 'nutrition label' was look at the source... if it had come from the University of Kansas or some place with accreditation it may have held some value. Mom's Across America though? They have as much personal interest in spreading false information as Monsanto has on the other end. I wouldn't believe something from Monsanto's marketing people so why would I believe anything from the other end of the spectrum.
That's just my opinion but the 2nd blog holds more accuracy; that is not a nutritional label (it can't be) therefore it is falsified data and anyone who will lie to prove their point has lost my interest.
(For full disclosure, I get my flu shot every year and never get the flu; also no 3rd eye but I'm still hoping.)
Dr. Don Huber has been researching glyphosate for 20 years.
“Glyphosate is a strong organic phosphate chelator that immobilizes positively charged minerals such as manganese, cobalt, iron, zinc [and] copper,” Dr. Don Huber attested during a separate GMO study recently released, adding that those elements “are essential for normal physiological functions in soils, plants and animals.”

I have read elsewhere that the ProfitPro produced report is leaked and could not find it on ProfitPro's website. De Dell Seed Company is the non GMO seed company that paid ProfitPro for the comparison.
I'll still steer clear of Monsanto products if I can, just like Monsanto employees.

Hi Belowtheradar and everyone else,
My wife and I are a young couple who live in Calgary (where my wife is from) and have been active preppers for the past two years in Houston and Hawaii. This is my first time on the preppersnetwork. I wanted to thank you for posting the thread about GMO's. I can't tell you how passionate I am about taking Monsanto down (they are taking over Hawaii). I feel like this thread is two of my favorite topics in one! It has actually inspired me to try calling my favorite stores and protesting GMO. I could go on for hours about what GMO does to our bodies, fibromyalgia, new allergies, inflamation/weight gain, you name it. Great post.
