Hi Alberta pilot, there are a couple survival groups in Calgary " meetup " . Have a look, from survival, camping to zombie survival ( It's actually a survival group with a catchy name ). I personally am from that city and have had some positive experiences.

Anyone is welcome to set up meetings and invite whoever wants to come out. Don't feel too nervous about it.
If you look back through the Alberta pages, you will see that we used to run very frequent meetings in the Calgary area but then interest waned a bit and we took a break.
I tried a coffee meeting just last Christmas and 4 of us got out but no other interest.
We also set up a few lunch and learns at Briden Solutions and I'm guessing that they will want to do another one this year. They tend to be annual now it seems lol.

If people are looking to meet, pick a public venue with easy access and then give a lot of notice (4-8 weeks) as many don't log into the forums every week anymore it seems.
Maybe we can try for another one this spring if people are interested. I'll post this in the main AB window as well.

Cheers!

I'm in for another Calgary group meet! I've tried to get a group to meet for coffee but life gets in the way for everyone.
