Hello everyone,
So after reading some of the other threads in regards to items on sale, I have decided that I need to be notified via email from retailers when they have items on sale. There are a few places that I have already signed up for web flyers to be sent to my email, but I am wondering what others on these boards are subscribing too (so I can steal the idea and subscribe myself). Any recomendations for store websites that I should subscribe to?
here is my list so far (pretty short... I hope everyone can add to this list and use it for their own purposes):
The Sportsmans Guide (Hunting/Camping): http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/email/Unsubscribe.aspx?s=1
Canadian Tire (Miscelleneous Equipment): http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/NavigationAssortments/WebStore/Navigation/TopNavigationRedesign/BottomLinks/EmailSignup.jsp
Frontier Firearms (Fire arms and Ammunition): http://frontierfirearms.ca/
Canada Ammo (Fire arms and Ammunition): https://www.canadaammo.com/
Please Add to my list!
See you all after.
Don't know if you have a Princess Auto in your area, but heres a link for them.
Dial up or mobile:

Not sure if they send out emails flyers, but I check them out as soon as I get the CT email to compare just in case they have the same things. 😉
They carry a lot of things you can't get other places.

See you all after.
Try a military surplus store in your area. Their website might have some sales marked in it.
CAUTION: Some of the guys that work in the military surplus stores have read a couple too many 'Vietnam' war books, or perhaps 'Gulf War' books are all the rage now, but I hope you get the drift.
DISCLAIMER: I have nothing against veterans but have seen some pretty weird behavior out of 'Wannabee' vets. No time in the trenches but they probably have a 'tactical toilet seat' with 'Cammo toilet paper' to enhance the 'paramilitary experience' while at home. I'm very careful about how much information (HINT: none) I give up about myself to those people. I pay cash and refuse 'help' to carry stuff to my vehicle. The less some people know, the safer you are.

Buggie,
Here are a couple more for your collection.
I will try to add a few more in days to come.
Cheers,
Mountainman.
Here are a few more.
www.amazon.com or www.amazon.ca both have good sources of first aid gear and books
Try this one:
They have some crazy deals. Not always but enough to make it worth your while.
Here's another- they aren't fast, but you can't beat some of the deals these guys have. Buy boots, get free socks. Buy a bag, get a free knife (my 5.11 folder is my new EDC knife!). Their countdown deals are amazing also if you catch them.
I'm not sure if these guys have an online flyer, but they have great prices on Israeli Bandages and their Bivy Jackets are insanely priced compared to other places that sell them. Their Bivy Jacket is the British Softie jacket.

A couple I find handy:
http://www.lapolicegear.com/ -great prices, shipping you have to be careful of, and not fast... figure 2 days from order until it's at the Post Office
http://www.armysurplus.com/index.aspx -website is a bit wonky, went to the store on a trip last month and got some good gear at decent prices. Their random bundles of paracord are a steal!
http://globalarmysurplus.com/ -pretty fast online service
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/ - online forum for Canadian gun folk- at the top of the main page are links to a lot of firearms/surplus/tactical businesses, including a couple already mentioned by other posters.
