I have been living offgrid for yrs, with solar and wind, I work in the industry, and have been around the world (literally) repairing, installing and destroying power systems, large and small... So if you need an answer, or want a hand with your project, PM me,,,

I'm curious what sort of success, if any, has been had with the use of magnetic bearings to reduce friction? Curious as it has to do with a prototype generator I'm working on.

To further clarify what I'm asking, has there been any success in using magnets to suspend/repel a rotor shaft?
