If you reference any good physics texts you will find that zero-point energy is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical physical system may have. The only synonym that is applicable is that In quantum field theory, it is a synonym for the vacuum energy, an amount of energy associated with the vacuum of empty space. However that is not what you were referencing regarding permanent magnets.
The physics term zero point energy is not the same as the colloquial term. If you read the page you can see that we are talking two different theories.
I urge you to open up a little and consider the logic, and the dozens of patents listed on that page. There may be good reasons physics texts don't make many references to toroidal energy, but i'll not speculate on them here.
In the interest of continuing the productive discussion I would request that if you continue to insist it doesn't exist instead of adding productive input, that you simply stay out of the discussion. I'm not trying to be dismissive, i just want to discuss toroidal energy, not get told every other post that it's imaginary.

Perhaps you should consider quoting reliable, credible sources for the basis of your discussion. If it exits as you say simply show us. This is an interesting fantasy and I would be more than willing to discuss any concrete evidence that you have for its existence. If you had read my post you would see that I was pointing out that what you are refering to is not the definition in physics.
Look I really don't want to be abrasive, but I did read your post, and I did clarify what I was talking about. With all due respect, if you can't stop nitpicking, stop following the thread.
I would like to continue with productive discussion rather than blind dismissal.
Now, has anyone anything constructive to add or is dismissive and ignorant all I can expect?

Do you want me to ring my prototype to you in aug when I'm driving to vancouver islands hammer or once my patent is done I can send you a video if you would like
Preparedness is like a condom , I've rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it
That would be fantastic! Mind describing it for me? Promise I won't steal anything.

Well it's in the patent process my idea is it uses magnets to move a shaft that has alternator guts in it and looks like a generator from star gate Atlantis the naquadah ones and have a battery in the bottom part of it ill add a picture to give a rough idea from the show
Preparedness is like a condom , I've rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it
This isn't an April Fool's joke is it? Cuz that is similar, tho not exactly what I had envisioned.

Not a joke that's what it sort of looks like just has not as much detail and the bottom is more like a pyramid which is where there's a battery and its of a new material that's stores power better
Preparedness is like a condom , I've rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it
😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
Whats so funny lol

One must remember that a patent on something is not a guarantee that its will work..just that no one else can use your concept..Loads of patents are placed on items long before they are proven not to work.....
Chimo...
When All else fails--BIP--
Before we dismiss the concept just remember that all the matter we see is only something like 30% of all matter in the universe. Dark matter makes up all the rest.
It's also associated with dark energy, the force attributed to the continually accelerating expansion of the universe. That means dark energy must have an effect at a distance and we may be able to tap in to it. If we can, it's an unlimited supply.
EDIT.
I'm sorry, my figures are waaay off. Matter and dark matter combined are 30%.
According to the Planck mission team, and based on the standard model of cosmology, the total mass–energy of the universe contains 4.9% ordinary matter, 26.8% dark matter and 68.3% dark energy.
Wow I feel like I've offended some of you with this topic

No Duff not at all it is a discussion on an interesting topic. It is just that as some have been posting that zero point energy is a practical source and inferred in some respects that it is already being used which takes the discussion beyond the theoretical. This nonsense may mislead some readers of the thread. That is why I asked that reliable and credible sources be quoted for the basis of these discussions. Otherwise it may well get moved to the fringe board. Still waiting for those credible sources though. 😉
