As I mentioned earlier, I have never seen one perform with an actual load.
If you do build a prototype that could be at least scaled up to something that could power a home, then I would not only stand corrected, but be interested in one myself.

Sorry to revive an old thread and not even read everything, but the first page of posts kinda devolved quick. Zero Point Energy not only exists but is practical. There have been at least a dozen different patents on Zero Point/Toroidal energy devices recently.

I haven't built it yet, but knowing how the torus works and how magnetic power generation works, it is possible, and viable, to build a zero friction self exciting zero point generator. The principle would be to suspend the armature in a magnetic field, and start it spinning. Essentially it would be a number of alternators all hooked up in a row to produce a tube with numerous stator windings/field windings. With the armature suspended without physical contact, the wear on the system would be solely from inadvertent impact. Sadly, that means it would disrupt the entire system's field, likely causing the armature (rotor) to contact the pole shoes, causing impact damage.

Now, this is easy to fix and I've described it before elsewhere. It simply takes a battery (usually a 1.5v AAA or AA) to re-initialize the field winding and allow for flow of magnetic flux.

If anyone has a few old alternators lying around, it might be interesting to see how reliable this device would be.

I guess it depends what you are calling zero point generators. Generators using zero point energy do not exist. Perhaps you could supply us with a credible link to the theory, construction and specifications of generators to which you are alluding.

From where I sit, negative I cannot but that's because i'm at work. Zero point energy is a stnonymous name for toroidal or near perpetual energy. The term Zero Point simply refers to the fact that energy is derived from the core point (point zero) of the magnetic field. In fact, we have been using rudimentary forms of zero point generators since the automobile was invented.

Nikola Tesla had a working prototype in 1941. Unless i'm mistaken, one of his weapon designs also incorporated toroidal power in a charged particle projectile system.

I respect your skepticism because i've been there but i've seen the math and it works. I know that falls into your "theoretically possible" category, butdemobstration normally takes theory to application and application is where we are now.

Please watch Thrive as it is the clearest explanation of a number of "green" concepts. It has some biased opinions, but the logic behind the torus is sound and there are some working prototypes of toroidal generators for you to see.
