Check out 'Moon Cups' or other similar menstrual cups, they are even better and last about 5 years, saves heaps of money, take up virtually no room, only need to be washed not replaced, and your wife will thank you...they are seriously great and a lot of women let alone men have never heard about them!

I agree with Cares. Any type of menstrual cup will work. I use the Diva Cup, and would never go back to tampons. What is even more appealing, is the fact that not only do I not spend the money on consumables in that area, but I don't use up valuable space in my storage or in my bug-out bag.

I am sure everyone knows, but make sure you check out amazon and south of the boarder for supplies. I just found a nice buy on tampons for my wife, 108 for $10. No one wants there wife to have to go through SHTF on her period and no tampons.

I did the same. If the wife hits up some reusable thing we can always use the tampons as firestarter and wound dressing.

I also stocked up and continue to stock up on pads/tampons also but I use coupons to do so, I have manged to stock up a bit and get most next to free. They do have many uses other then what they are made for so even start clippin coupons. Saves a ton also!
