Hello Preppers of B.C.,

My name is Jared Gnam and I am a journalist from Langara College in Vancouver, BC.

I am writing a full-length magazine article on the growing prepper movement in North America and a look at possible disaster scenarios that might hit our planet in the near future.
I have focused mainly on a possible economic collapse and have interviewed New York Times best-selling author James Wesley Rawles of Survival Blog, as well as Michael T. Snider of the Economic Collapse blog and several economists from Vancouver to Manhattan.

I have also talked to several people from a survival meet up group in the Lower Mainland and a survivalist gearing up to fortify himself in Rock Creek, B.C.

But I would like to find at least one more person who is preparing for disaster. I am interested in what you see happening in the near future and what supplies you have saved up. Food, water? Do you have medical training? Firearms?

If you would like to tell your story, I would be grateful to tell it.
