It's been announced that there are now severe drought conditions on Vancouver Island. I can't remember how early last year they announced the drought conditions, but I feel like it was later in the summer. It's pretty concerning being on an island with limited fresh water supplies and being amidst drought conditions. It's also frustrating when I see people wasting water, which happens a lot. Anyone else concerned?
The environment issue is overplayed
Don't feed too much into it
Unless someone is doing something stupid, live your life and let them live theirs.
The world will naturally become a better place
we are having a drought in the Ottawa valley, lots of crop loss, effect hay and grain crop prices, loss of garden crops personally effecting my crops and what is going in my pantry.. each year is different and has challenges but yes.. all those close to the land and who grow most of their own food are concerned
